Responsibilities:

• Administrative and clinical duties
• Prepare patient charts

• Provide patient education when needed
• Administer medications

Minimum Qualifications:

• CMA or RMA designation

Responsibilities:
• Answer phones in a prompt and professional manner; direct calls to appropriate staff members
• Schedule appointments
• Check in/check out patients and collect payments
• Verify benefits with insurance companies and determine infertility coverage for testing and treatment
• Obtain medical records in advance when needed for visits
• Contribute to overall positive clinic attitudes by exhibiting professional courtesy to patients, providers, and staff
• Act with integrity and confidentiality when dealing with patients and/or clinic information, in accordance with HIPAA rules and regulations
• Adhere to clinic attendance expectations as outlined by policy
• Other administrative duties as necessary

Our nurses provide clinical support in pre-operative and post-operative care, triage, and the clinic floor as needed. This is an ideal position for an RN who is interested in gaining an in-depth understanding of a unique specialty while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
• Case Management
• Interview patients and enter medical history into EHR
• Assist with exams and procedures as directed
• Instruct patients on care plans and medication administration
• Complete referral and records requests
• Assist with pre-op and post-op recovery
• Triage patient phone calls and messages

Qualifications:
• RN license
• Current CPR Certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience using Electronic Health Records

Senior Embryologist

Procreate Fertility Center of Virginia, PLLC seeks a Senior Embryologist to work at our office in Chesapeake, Virginia. The Senior Embryologist will utilize expertise in the embryology field to perform the following duties in our medical laboratory:

• Perform oocyte retrieval from follicular fluid, denuding, intracytoplasmic sperm injection and conventional in-vitro fertilization;
• Maintain the in-vitro fertilization culture system to develop embryos;
• Conduct assessment of fertilization, development, grade and stage of embryos;
• Perform blastocyst biopsy and process cells for preimplantation genetic testing;
• Intrauterine embryo transfer;
• Perform vitrification and thawing of embryos and oocytes and maintain cryopreservation storage system;
• Coordinate relocation of embryos, oocytes, and sperm between clinics;
• Ensure required materials are available and non toxic to gametes prior to all cycles;
• Document procedures and results in electronic health record systems;
• Conduct periodic review and update of laboratory standard operating procedures;
• Perform quality control and quality management procedures;
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, and instruments according to applicable regulations;
• Enforce compliance processes and documentation per CLIA, JCAHO, and FDA regulations;
• Report data to the National Assisted Reproductive Technology Surveillance System; and
• Supervise junior embryologists.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Assisted Human Reproduction, Embryology, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field or an equivalent foreign degree (3 or 4 year degree is
acceptable). In addition, this position requires at least 3 years of relevant professional experience performing embryology procedures in a reproductive clinical laboratory. Experience must include documented success in the following procedures and skill sets:

• 30 oocyte isolation from follicular aspiration.
• 30 sperm preparations.
• 30 intracytoplasmic sperm injections cycles.
• 30 conventional in vitro fertilization cycles.
• 30 documentations of fertilization.
• 30 preparations for and transfer of embryos.
• 30 cryopreservation procedures of eggs.
• 30 cryopreservation procedures of embryos.
• 30 embryo biopsy procedures.
• 30 Assisted hatching procedures.
• Utilization of electronic health record systems.
• Fluent and professional communication, in English, with colleagues and patients.
• Adherence to standardized laboratory and company protocols.
