Restoration of Ovulation

Since the ovulatory function of the ovaries in patients with PCOS is defective, restoring ovulation is one of the main goals in patients interested in pregnancy. A combination of multiple actions is often required, including lifestyle modifications, diet, exercise, and sometimes medications. The medications helping to restore ovulation will include insulin regulation medications (metformin) and ovulation induction agents (oral or injectable). These medications will be prescribed and managed by one of Procreate’s PCOS Clinic providers.
